Description
The Radian Weapons Model 1 is built for the shooter who wants a professionally finished, hard-use carbine without assembling one from parts. Every unit is hand-assembled, inspected, and test-fired by a trained gunsmith before it leaves the factory — not a production-line checkbox, but a final verification that the rifle runs correctly before your name goes on it.
The .223 Wylde chamber is a deliberate middle ground: it accepts both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition without the pressure concerns of running 5.56 in a .223 Remington chamber, and it preserves the tighter throat dimensions that give .223 Remington its accuracy edge at longer range. The 1-in-8 twist rate supports that flexibility well — it stabilizes heavier match bullets in the 69–77 grain range that most serious .223 shooters gravitate toward, while still handling common mid-weight loads without issue.
Ambidextrous controls throughout means the safety, bolt release, and charging handle are all equally accessible from either side — not an afterthought adapter on a right-handed layout, but the way the lower is built. The upper receiver, lower receiver, and extended M-LOK handguard are all Cerakoted to match in Radian Gray, so the finish is consistent across the whole rifle rather than assembled from components that approximate the same color. The handguard’s M-LOK interface lets you mount lights, lasers, or other accessories directly to the rail without adding bulk you didn’t ask for. The rifle ships optic-ready with no iron sights fitted, which reflects the assumption that the buyer already knows what optic they want on it.
