Description

The 3 Tactix 3X Magnifier is built for shooters who run a red dot as their primary optic but want the option to reach further without swapping to a dedicated magnified scope. It sits behind your existing red dot and triples the effective magnification in one step, extending your engagement capability without requiring you to build an entirely different rifle setup around a different optic.

The flip-away QD mount is where the practical value lives. With a single button press the magnifier swings to the right side of the receiver, leaving your red dot fully unobstructed for close-range work. Push it back and it locks into the base — and because neither motion requires two hands, your firing hand stays on the grip throughout. That matters in any situation where dropping your grip to manipulate an optic costs you time or control. The mount also detaches quickly from the rail if you want to run the rifle without any magnifier at all.

The body is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, which keeps the unit light enough — under eight ounces — that adding it to a red dot setup doesn’t meaningfully shift your rifle’s balance. The lenses are fully multi-coated for light transmission, and the housing is argon-purged and sealed, making it waterproof and fogproof across field conditions. Riton rates it for shock resistance up to 1,000Gs. Eye relief of 2.75 inches gives you enough distance from the eyepiece to stay comfortable behind the rifle without pressing your face into the mount.
