What separates this scope from a conventional illuminated reticle is the BDX Digital Dev-L reticle, which uses 194 individual LEDs rather than a single backlit element. Those LEDs allow the scope to display a specific illuminated holdover point — calculated by the paired BDX-enabled rangefinder using your ammunition’s ballistic profile — directly in the reticle at the moment of ranging. The result is a precise, dynamically placed aim point rather than a fixed ladder the shooter has to interpret under pressure.

The reticle sits in the second focal plane, which means the subtensions and hold marks are calibrated to a specific magnification. At that power the LED-driven system takes over the ranging calculation anyway, so the focal plane choice is a reasonable one for the intended use case. The 30mm tube gives the internal adjustment system adequate range of travel for setting up on varied platforms and mounting heights.

Power comes from a CR2032 coin cell — a battery type that is widely available and straightforward to replace in the field without tools. The scope is finished in black.
