Description

The Sig Sauer Tango MSR Compact is a low-power variable optic built for MSR-platform rifles used across a wide range of distances — from close-quarters work at true 1x out to the extended reaches where 6x magnification earns its keep. It is a practical choice for shooters who need a single optic to cover both scenarios without carrying additional glass or swapping setups between stages or field situations.

The second focal plane placement of the BDC6 reticle means holdover marks are calibrated to a specific magnification setting rather than scaling with the zoom ring. This is a deliberate trade-off: SFP construction generally allows for a cleaner, less cluttered reticle image at lower power, which aids target acquisition speed, but it requires the shooter to be disciplined about which power setting they are on when using the hash marks for ranging or holds at distance. The BDC6 reticle itself provides multiple aiming points tiered for extended range holds, giving the shooter a practical reference system without dialing corrections for every shot.

The illuminated reticle includes an off position between each brightness increment, so the shooter can step down to a specific level without cycling through the full range each time.
