SL 578 GLS PRO-FIT STANDARD BLK LH

Description

The Safariland 578 GLS Pro-Fit is an outside-the-waistband holster built around Safariland’s Grip Locking System, a passive retention mechanism that secures the firearm automatically the moment it is holstered. Rather than relying on a thumb-activated hood or strap, the GLS releases by the shooter’s middle finger pressing a lever during a normal firing grip — so the draw motion and the retention defeat happen simultaneously, without an additional step. This makes it a practical choice for anyone who carries daily and wants a holster that keeps up with a defensive draw without requiring a separate gross-motor manipulation.

The Pro-Fit sizing concept means one holster body accommodates a range of full-size pistols that share similar frame dimensions, including the Glock 17, Glock 20, and Glock 37 family, rather than being cut for a single model. The holster ships with both a paddle and belt loop attachment, giving the carrier two mounting options without needing separate hardware. Construction is polymer throughout, keeping the overall package light and resistant to the moisture and wear that come with extended daily carry or range use. This variant is configured for left-hand draw and finished in black. The Safariland Limited Lifetime Warranty covers the holster against defects in materials and workmanship.
