Description
The Safariland 6354DO is built for duty and tactical use with red dot optic-equipped Glock 17 and Glock 22 pistols paired with a weapon-mounted light. This right-hand holster ships in MultiCam Cordura nylon, a finish chosen specifically for its infrared signature reduction — relevant for personnel operating under night-vision in environments where IR reflectivity matters. The textile construction is not a cost compromise; it keeps the holster’s profile low and its weight down while staying durable under field conditions.
Retention is handled by Safariland’s Automatic Locking System. The ALS engages the firearm automatically on holstering, securing it without any manual strap or hood to set. The draw is released with a single thumb motion — a deliberate design choice that keeps the draw stroke short and consistent under stress. Because the holster is purpose-cut for the optic-equipped slide, there is no raised channel or adapter required; the red dot sits where it needs to without compromising the fit around the light rail.
This variant comes with the QLS 19 Locking Fork pre-installed on the holster body. The fork attaches to Safariland’s standard three-hole mounting pattern and drops into a separately purchased QLS 22 Receiver Plate with a positive click, allowing the holster to be moved between platforms — belt loop, leg shroud, MOLLE mount — without tools. Removing the holster is a squeeze-and-slide motion; no screws, no fumbling. If you already run QLS 22 receiver plates across multiple rigs, this holster integrates directly without any additional hardware on the holster side.
