Description
The Safariland INCOG-X is an inside-the-waistband holster developed in collaboration with Haley Strategic, aimed at concealed carriers who need a serious daily carry solution that doesn’t force a choice between comfort and retention. The design pairs a Boltaron shell wrapped in microfiber suede with an integrated magazine caddy, so the gun and a spare magazine travel as a single unit rather than requiring separate belt real estate. Boltaron is a thermoplastic that holds its molded shape under heat and repeated draw cycles, which matters for a holster worn against the body where temperature and moisture are constant variables.
The microfiber suede lining serves a practical purpose beyond texture: it reduces the abrasion that bare thermoplastic causes against both the firearm’s finish and the wearer’s skin during extended carry. Because the holster is cut to fit the Glock 17 and 19 with a weapon-mounted light, users who run a light on their carry gun get a proper fit rather than a loose universal shell that allows lateral movement. The Woodland Camo finish on this variant is a Safariland-specific pattern option rather than a functional camouflage feature; for most concealed carry applications it sits under a cover garment, but it does distinguish this holster from the standard black and MultiCam options in the INCOG-X line. The right-hand configuration positions the draw for a strong-side or appendix carry setup depending on how the user orients the mounting hardware.
