SL MID/CANT UNIV BELT LOOP BLK 2.25″

Description

The Safariland CUBL2 Mid-Ride Cantable Universal Belt Loop is built for duty and tactical carriers who need to dial in holster cant rather than accept a fixed position. Where a standard belt loop locks the holster in place, the CUBL2 lets the wearer select a cant angle — up to 30 degrees of forward or rearward adjustment — so the draw stroke can be tuned to body geometry, carry position, and personal preference rather than compromised by it.

The CUBL2 is the updated version of Safariland’s original CUBL design, adding five degrees of additional cant range in each direction over its predecessor while also incorporating larger, flatter contact surfaces. That geometry distributes pressure more evenly against the hip, which matters over a full shift when a holster is worn for hours at a time.

Compatibility is broad by design. The CUBL2 works with any holster using a standard 3-hole mounting pattern, and it integrates directly with Safariland’s UBL (Universal Belt Loop) platform, making it interchangeable within a modular duty rig. Construction is injection-molded polymer, which keeps weight down without sacrificing the rigidity needed for reliable holster retention under movement. The 2.25-inch belt loop width fits standard duty belts. Finish is black matte throughout.

This is the kind of component that goes unnoticed when it works correctly — and that is the point. Getting the cant angle right before going on duty means fewer adjustments and a more consistent draw every time.
