SL MID/CANT UNIV BELT LOOP BLK 2″

Description

The Safariland CUBL2 Cantable Universal Belt Loop is built for shooters who want meaningful control over holster cant angle rather than accepting a fixed carry position. Whether you prefer a straight-drop orientation or a forward cant for a faster draw, the CUBL2 lets you dial that in and change it without replacing the entire mounting platform.

The key to its versatility is how it bridges two systems at once. The CUBL2 attaches to Safariland’s UBL mounting interface while also accepting holsters with the standard 3-hole pattern, which covers a wide range of Safariland duty and concealment holsters. That compatibility means you can move a single holster shell across multiple platforms — swapping between paddle, drop, or loop mounts — without buying a dedicated loop for each.

The belt loop itself is sized for a 2-inch belt, a width common to purpose-built gun belts and most duty rigs. The polymer construction keeps weight low while maintaining the rigidity needed to pass Safariland’s retention pull test, which evaluates whether the attachment between loop and holster holds under the kind of force that could work a holster free during physical activity or a retention struggle.

It is also QLS compatible, meaning it can interface with Safariland’s Quick Locking System plates if you want to add tool-free holster swapping capability later. That compatibility is built into the design rather than requiring an adapter, so the option is there if your setup evolves. Finished in black polymer, it suits standard black-kit configurations without standing out against the holster body.
