SL VAULT DTY 1 FOR GLK 17/19 TLR1 RH

Description

The Safariland Vault is an outside-waistband paddle holster built for duty and serious training use, sized to accommodate the Glock 17 and Glock 19 when fitted with the Streamlight TLR-1 weapon light. It is designed for right-handed carry and mounts via a paddle attachment that allows quick on and off without removing a belt.

The holster body is constructed from laminate, a layered material that resists deformation under daily pressure and impact better than single-layer injection-molded shells — relevant when a holster is worn for extended shifts or carried in rough conditions. The build includes a magnetic guidance system along the draw path, which helps the muzzle find the holster mouth consistently during a reholster, reducing the time and attention required to seat the firearm under stress.

Retention is set at Level 1, meaning the gun is held by passive friction and the geometry of the holster interior rather than by an active locking mechanism. That makes for a clean, unobstructed draw stroke — appropriate for range training, competition, and duty contexts where speed matters and a second retention device is not required. The open muzzle design means the holster will accept barrels equipped with a thread protector, muzzle device, or compensator without modification. It also accommodates both closed and open-emitter pistol optics mounted to the slide, so the holster does not become obsolete if the host pistol is later configured with a red dot.
