Description

The Steiner P-Series cantilever mount is built for AR-15 and flat-top platforms where eye relief has to be dialed in without compromise. A cantilever design shifts the scope forward of the receiver, which on a flat-top AR closes the gap between where the rail ends and where the shooter’s eye naturally sits — something a standard one-piece ring set centered over the receiver can’t accomplish without the shooter craning forward.

Steiner machines the mount from aluminum alloy, a choice that keeps weight down without sacrificing the rigidity a one-piece mount needs to hold zero under repeated recoil cycles. The 34mm tube channel is sized for the larger-diameter main tubes common on modern tactical and precision scopes, where extra tube volume gives the manufacturer more internal adjustment travel to work with.

Attachment is via Picatinny rail, meaning the mount indexes against the cross-slots rather than clamping friction alone — the same interface used across AR-pattern rifles, allowing consistent repositioning if the mount is removed and reinstalled.
