Description

The SureFire M340V Mini Scout Light Pro Infrared is built for shooters who run night vision and need a single, compact weapon light that can serve both roles — visible white light for standard use and invisible infrared illumination for NVD work — without carrying filters or swapping heads. The 250 lumens of white light gives you enough output to positively identify targets at medium range, while the hybrid TIR beam pattern balances a focused center hotspot with enough surrounding spill to keep you spatially aware. Switching between the two modes is handled by rotating the front bezel, which means you can make that call quickly and without taking your firing hand off the grip.

The infrared output runs at 860 nm, which sits in the wavelength range that image intensifier tubes read well. Because IR illumination is invisible to the unaided eye, there is no visual signature from the shooter’s position — the light only exists in the NVD picture. The white light runtime of 1.5 hours and IR runtime of 6 hours both run off a single 123A lithium battery, which keeps the logistics simple.

The Low-Profile Mount is designed to let you slide the light fore and aft on a MIL-STD-1913 or M-LOK rail independently of other accessories, which matters when you are stacking a pressure pad, a laser, and a foregrip on limited rail space. The Z68 tailcap provides both momentary and constant-on activation with a shrouded button that resists accidental activation. The body is machined from aerospace aluminum with a Mil-Spec hard anodized finish in Tan, and the unit is IPX7 rated for water submersion.
