Description
The SureFire ST07 is a remote tape switch designed for shooters who need to activate a WeaponLight without breaking their grip or shifting hand position. Rather than reaching for a tailcap switch, you place the tape switch pad where your support hand naturally rests and run the cable back to a compatible SureFire WeaponLight’s plug socket — giving you momentary-on activation exactly when you need it, without any mechanical adjustment to your firing grip.
The seven-inch cable length is sized to suit the geometry of a standard rifle or carbine, keeping the run tidy without excess slack. The plug seats into the light’s socket and is sealed with an O-ring, so moisture and debris don’t work their way into the connection in rain or field conditions. The switch pad itself carries adhesive-backed Velcro on its underside, letting you position it on a rail panel, handguard, or stock in whatever location works for your hold — and reposition it if your setup changes.
Compatible lights include SureFire WeaponLights fitted with plug sockets: the Millennium Universal, Classic Universal, Scout Light with a socketed tailcap, X300, and X400 with an XT tailcap assembly. If your light has a switch socket and you want your activation point somewhere other than the tailcap, the ST07 is the direct solution SureFire built for that purpose. It is a simple, purpose-made component — no batteries, no electronics — just a reliable mechanical contact point in a more useful location.
