Description
The SureFire X300T in Flat Dark Earth is a handgun WeaponLight built around a single priority: reach. Where the standard X300U spreads light broadly for close-quarters work, the X300T uses a precision-engineered Turbo reflector to concentrate its output into a tightly focused beam — the kind of pattern that lets you push positive threat identification out to distances where a conventional weapon light’s hotspot has already washed out. That trade-off is deliberate: you give up some peripheral flood in exchange for a beam that holds together at range.
At 650 lumens, the output figure is the same as the X300U, but the Turbo reflector channels that energy into a 66,000-candela peak intensity, which is where the real-world difference lives. Candela — not lumens — determines how far a beam throws usable light, and 66,000 candela is a significant step up from what a wide-pattern reflector produces with the same LED and batteries.
The body is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and finished in Mil-Spec hard anodize, which resists abrasion and corrosion without adding meaningful weight. The X300T-A variant uses SureFire’s Lever Latch system for tool-free attachment and removal from Universal and Picatinny rails, and it is dimensionally compatible with existing X300U-A holsters — a practical consideration if you are already set up for the platform. Switching is ambidextrous, supporting both momentary and constant-on activation from a single finger without breaking your firing grip. The unit is sealed to IPX7 standard, meaning it will handle a submersion to one meter for up to thirty minutes.
