Description

The Unity Tactical FAST Optics Riser exists to solve a specific ergonomic problem: standard absolute and lower-1/3 co-witness mounts put your eye too low when you are wearing a helmet, plate carrier, electronic ear protection, or night vision equipment. Craning your neck forward to acquire a sight picture compounds fatigue over a long day and slows target transitions. By raising the optical centerline to 2.26 inches, the riser lets you maintain a neutral, heads-up posture so your spine stays in a more natural position and your eyes meet the optic rather than hunting for it.

The platform accepts any M1913 Picatinny-footprint optic, but it is specifically optimized for lower-1/3 co-witness sights such as the EOTech EXPS series, the Leupold LCO, and the Vortex UH-1. Those optics mount close to the rail by design; the riser compensates by lifting the entire assembly rather than requiring you to swap to a taller proprietary mount. It also integrates cleanly with the Unity Tactical FAST FTC Magnifier Mount, keeping both units at a consistent height so no optical axis mismatch is introduced when you flip a magnifier into line.

Construction is 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodize finish. That alloy is meaningfully stiffer than the 6061 aluminum common in lower-cost mounts, which matters because any flex in the riser translates directly to point-of-impact shift under recoil. Attachment is handled by a rail-grabber clamp. At 2.8 ounces, the added mass is modest enough that it does not noticeably shift the balance of a standard carbine build.
