Description

The REKE was developed in response to a special operations requirement for a precision scope mount capable of supporting intermediate to long-range rifle optics on dedicated marksman and sniper platforms. That origin shapes every design decision: this is not a general-purpose ring set, but a purpose-built system engineered around a specific optical centerline height of 1.54 inches above the rail. That figure is not arbitrary — it places the optic in line with common in-line night vision devices, so a shooter running a device between the optic and the rifle does not have to compromise eye position or re-zero when transitioning between day and night configurations.

The 35mm ring bore accommodates a growing category of large-tube precision optics that fall outside the traditional 30 and 34mm standards, giving the shooter access to scopes with larger erector travel and greater adjustment range without resorting to adapter sleeves or shims. The ring clamp uses three cross bolts to distribute clamping force evenly across the Picatinny rail interface, reducing the risk of point-loading that can cause vertical stringing under recoil. The body is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Type III hardcoat anodize, a combination that keeps weight manageable while providing surface hardness suited to field use.

The REKE’s modular architecture is worth understanding before purchase. The mount is designed to accept expansion accessories — diving boards for laser rangefinders, twelve o’clock MRDS mounts, and thirty-five degree offset mounts for secondary red dots or other accessories — meaning the mount can grow with the mission rather than requiring replacement when requirements change.
