The Yankee Hill Machine Mini Picatinny Riser gives you a straightforward way to bring optics, lights, or other accessories up to a more useful height without swapping out your existing rail system. It fits any Picatinny rail, so there is no compatibility puzzle to work through before mounting.

The riser adds exactly half an inch of elevation, which is enough to shift a low-profile red dot or LPVO from full co-witness with iron sights to a one-third co-witness — a meaningful change for anyone who wants a cleaner sight picture through the optic without losing the ability to see irons in the lower third of the window. It is also useful for raising a flashlight or laser unit when a flush-mounted position puts it too close to the handguard for clean operation.

YHM machines the body from 6061-T6 aluminum and finishes it with a hard-coat anodize, which keeps weight down while providing a surface that holds up to handling and field use. The mounting screw is intentionally oversized relative to what you would find on smaller risers, giving you more clamping force against the rail and reducing the chance of shift under recoil. Mil-spec 1913 compliance means the interface dimensions are held to a consistent standard, so the riser seats squarely and predictably. At just over one ounce, it adds almost nothing to overall weight. Built in the USA.
