Description

The Victra-12 is built for shotgun shooters who want meaningful sound reduction without giving up the versatility a field or home-defense gun demands. Yankee Hill Machine designed it around a modular rod-and-baffle system that lets the owner reconfigure the suppressor between four lengths—12″, 10″, 8″, and 6″—by swapping rod kits, so the same unit that makes sense on a long hunting barrel can be shortened for a tighter home-defense setup. That trade-off is real: the full 12″ configuration brings measured ear-level sound down to 135 dB, while the shortest 6″ configuration reads around 141 dB—quieter is longer, and the shooter decides where on that curve they want to operate.

Attachment is through the host shotgun’s existing choke threads using a YHM-specific mount sold separately, so no barrel work is required. The suppressor ships with an Improved Cylinder choke, and because the actual choke constriction happens at the muzzle of the suppressor rather than at the mount, the system accepts additional choke options without pulling the unit off the gun. The offset bore geometry keeps the sight picture clear rather than forcing the bore axis and the line of sight into conflict—a practical consideration on shotguns where a tall riser isn’t the default solution.

The body is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and 17-4 PH stainless steel, finished in Hard Anodize and Melonite respectively. The gas management also produces a noticeable reduction in felt recoil, which matters more on follow-up shots than on the first round. Barrel and shell pairing matters: shorter barrels restrict the maximum shell length the design is rated for, so match your host gun accordingly before selecting ammunition. The Victra-12 is rated for full-auto use and is made in the United States.
